"letter": "I am opposed to Betsy DeVos’ agenda to promote the expansion of voucher programs that allow parents to use taxpayer funds to send their children to private and religious schools. As 85% of the private schools are religion based, these vouchers are a way to circumvent the laws which prevent using federal funds to subsidize religious practices.\r\n\r\nThis proposal also does not hold private schools as it does public schools accountable in discriminating against students and faculty based on race, sex, sexual orientation, religion and disability status while taking advantage of the taxpayer funds.\r\n\r\nI do not want my taxes paying for the privatization of education. I believe a quality education should be available to everyone.\r\n\r\nIf I can do more please let me know.\r\n\r\nThank you for your help with this matter."
